BANGLADESHI WIFE WORKOUT is the answer to all your prayers! no need to go to the gym, no need to buy expensive equipment as long as you are in a traditional Bangladeshi household you will find everything at home!
Equipment Needed:
- 1 grumpy father in law
- 1 control freak mother in law
- couple of lazy sister/brother in laws

- stone grinder
- metallic garlic crusher
- Pots and pans with wooden stirring instruments ( can be obtained in various sizes, for maximum results use the largest available)
- hoover ( preferably an old one that does not work properly so that you need to redo the job again with a dustpan and brush)
1)To tone upper arms and tummy:
this ancient method of grinding spices will ensure that your upper arms are super toned, place spices in the middle, take a deep breath and grind!( this needs to be done on a daily basis for maximum results)
2)Muscle building and toning lower arm

beauty benefits
No need to spend money on expensive exfoliaters! When number 6 has been performed on a regularly basis, you should see a noticeable difference in the condition of your hands, namely the palm. when they start looking very dry and rough, you can then use them to exfoliate your face ( rub your face in a circular motion with your palms) and thus revealing a cleaner more radiant you.
note: please seek medical advice before undergoing any of the above.

It's good to help people but these people are just taking full advantage of you. Leaving their plates and dishes for you and never doing anything, that's just wrong. You are part of the family not a slave.
May Allah (swt) make it easier for you. I really hope they start to appreciate you and respect you.
Sorry but the beauty part made me laugh a little with the hands exfoliating the face.
Take Care

HAHAHA at "Bangladeshi wife workout" and the pictures. They go well together. Makes me wonder...Oh no, what is coming my way =/
tell me number one and two arent true?u dont use a blender?? i know ppl might want to sometimes use these methods but i know how much onion, garlic ginger and spices are used in a bengali household esp an extended one so using traditional methods are just crazy!
true i need a workout but i think i'll pass on the bangladeshi wife style!!inshaAllah
xxxx
p.s
i agree with bengali makes me shudder to think what may come our way soon!
Is the end result the pic of the girl at the begining? lol, then count me in i want that hair. oh sister in Islam! stay strong, you might not be the one with the last laugh (or last roti) but you will, inshallah, be the one with great rewards. ameen!
Lol. I'm glad you can see the humour in some of this at least..... but you sound like slave to everyone, not just your immediate family.
Can I ask why you are taking care of the whole family? I have visited with friends of my husband who are Bangladeshi and the wife's mother was here from overseas and SHE was tghe one doing everything. She wouldn't let her daughter do anything after she had her baby.
Would it be different if it were the husband's mother????

aahhh you see that is the daugters mother, the daughters mother wont let her lift a finger especially if she is visiting mummys house, a daughter in law is a different story all together...this is another post!
salam Baji
welcome, of course you can link it! im glad that you found it funny!
salam alaikum sis jazakAllah khayr for your du'as and i making du'a for you too.
i cant believe that coz the in laws should know even aunites in bangladeshi villages now order blenders and food processors from UK or buy it there and probably have forgot how to handgrind spices!
i dont know whats it going to take for these guys to realise what they are doing Allah make it easy for you inshaAllah and reward you for your patience ameen
salam eternal peace... i know its so sad that we use that method, i dont know anyone else who does, oh no i re read what i had written to you earlier on and tutted, that was me trying to be mega fast, you see we were in the middle of cooking and i kept sneaking out for 5 mins to reply to my sisters, so sorry it doesnt even make sense.. here goes again number 1 we use for ginger and spices, number 2 is for garlic, onions for fish are grated using cheese grater otherwise sliced for fish. you made me laugh when you said even people back home have adopted modern methods....she is so backward. and she knows it to. you know once i was using the fata ( stone grinder) and a visitor unexpectdely came, she was like okay just leave it now, rushing me to finish, but the lady saw and started to ask questions hheeheheh serves her right!
eternal peace.... aaarrrggghhh feel like pulling my hair out .....amendment... onions sliced for meat!
hahahaha serves her right, injustice shall be exposed!!
As salaamu Aalaykum,
It was beautifully (and funny) written but I am also not sure if I should laugh or not. I too make dua that Allah swt blesses you with the best of jannah and eases your worries and burden in this life. ameen.
Salam Sister,
somehow i reached your blog ,like it very much and read all the post,it is so sad that how tough you are going through .these ignorant(ur mil & fil))don't know how lucky they are that they have such a good practicing muslimah DIL like you...suerly Allah ask them in day of judgment about their behaviour towards you.
i'll pray for you whenver i do pray .May Allah reward you for the good deeds (Ameen).
salam tuttie, wow I love the layout on your page so nice! thank yo sis for your words please please do dua for me.
I have a question: What does your husband say about how your in laws treat you?
salam pak nomad
thank you for your prayers, i left a message on your blog
salam constructive attitude,
its really difficult, imagine your parents have had this hold on you for many years, then they get their daughter in laws and they still continue so, he does not like what they do,but he is in a very difficult position, if i could tell you why i would but im sorry that i wont be able to go into that. He is looking for a solution to all of this. listen i will give you an example of how they are... once my hub told his sisters daughter off, his mum gave him the silence treatment for 3 days! it is horrible to be living in the same house as someone who is not talking to you. when my hub talked of moving they fed us with so much emotional blackmail. sometimes i think they are selfish, is it fair to keep is in one room so that we stay togther???? these kind of people eventually lose out on everything and i am just being patient because i cant storm out i dont have no where to go.... i put up with this crap for my kids.. i cant go to my mums thats not my house either.
sorry for the long reply, but it is a complex question to answer.
Oh my gosh - hilarity! Love it!
